NFQES is now becoming 4SIGNER

Enterprise
Archive

A software component for secure long-term retention of electronic signatures and seals in line with eIDAS, deployable directly within your own local infrastructure.

Enterprise archive

Signature archiving under your control

Enterprise Archive is a reliable, secure solution for organizations that require the highest level of data protection and compliance with legal standards for electronic identification and trust services.

Main benefits

eIDAS compliance

Ensures compliance with European standards and law for long-term retention of signatures and seals.

Flexible deployment

Deployed directly within your own infrastructure for full control over your data.

Integration with 4SIGNER

SaaS mode via the 4SIGNER cloud platform, or On-Premise with your own certificate authority.

Long-term verifiability

Supports documents signed with a qualified signature, with or without a trusted timestamp.

How it fundamentally works

How a signature stays
verifiable for years

Long-term validity of electronically signed documents is ensured through cryptographic hashing, periodic re-signing, and time-based signature chaining.

Enterprise Archive

Cryptographic hashing of documents

Each archived document, or its cryptographic hash, is securely stored as the basis of long-term proof of signature validity.

Periodic document re-signing

The document is periodically (usually once a year) re-signed, which extends its verifiability over time.

Time-based signature chaining

Repeated re-signing builds a cryptographic chain that protects integrity and allows validation at any time.

Who the solution is for

An archive for
for every level of trust

Enterprise Archive supports both non-qualified and qualified archiving, depending on the needs of your organization and systems.

Internal archiving processes

Systems with no requirement for a qualified trust service, with certificates managed by the customer.

Regulated entities and audits

Organizations needing a trusted archive suitable for regulatory, legal, and audit purposes.

DMS
integrations

Seamless integration with document management systems via REST interfaces.

Organizations with their own PKI

Reduced cost and complexity thanks to integration into existing PKI infrastructure.

and institutions

OKTE

A company operating in Slovakia as a regulated entity responsible for running the energy market.

Bratislava Water Company

Digitized communication, online forms and contracts, electronic signing via infrastructure or API.

Tatraleasing

Reduced workload, lower hardware requirements, savings in time and cost, and strong legal certainty.

Medante

Digital signatures for medical records and contracts, implemented within the existing MEDANTE system.

It ensures secure long-term retention of electronic signatures and seals in line with eIDAS — documents are periodically re-signed, which extends their verifiability.

In non-qualified archiving, the customer manages their own certificates and keys. Qualified archiving runs via the 4SIGNER Hash Archive API with an 4SIGNER technical certificate, suited to regulatory, legal, and audit purposes.

Yes. In On-Premise mode, the 4SIGNER PKI API interface is used together with the customer’s own certificate authority — all operations run solely within the customer’s infrastructure.

The solution supports both scenarios — archiving document hashes alone, or hashes together with documents, depending on archive size and security requirements.

Via the standardized 4SIGNER Hash Archive REST API — integration is seamless and requires no major changes to your document management system.
